Sean now a Professional Footballer for Norwich City progressed through the Academy into Dover Athletic First Team. Sean spent three years in the Academy with two of them being a sixth form student at The Abbey School. He played regularly for the first team before being sold to Lincoln City in which he won promotion into League 2 with. Sean also made history by scoring the goal against Premier League Burnley in the FA Cup taking Lincoln the furthest in the competition in their history.

After an impressive season for Lincoln Sean was then sold to Championship Norwich City. We are all extremely proud of Sean and what he has gone on to achieve. It shows young players what can be achieved with hard work and dedication. We are all hoping to see Sean become a regular first-team player for Norwich City.

The Academy are through to the last 8 of the English Schools and Colleges Elite Competition. The Competition is a National one which around 300 schools and colleges enter. The Abbey School are the last School in Kent and await their next opponents. It's a fantastic achievement for the players to get this far in the competition and we hope we can continue. The prospect of travelling across the country to represent the School is something the players are looking forward to.
