Students had the chance to visit Canterbury Christ church university on Thursday, 19th June 2025. The Department of Natural and Applied Sciences was hosting a series of ‘Birds, Bugs and Botany Bio blitz’ citizen science days. These events offer students a hands-on opportunity to explore urban biodiversity, from birds and insects to the plants that support them. Students investigated how green spaces influence both ecological communities and human well-being.

It was a fun experience for all students involved!
