Admissions Process - Year 7 Admissions
Year 7 September 2026 Intake Admission Form
Parents/Carers will be invited to complete an online admission form sometime after Monday 20th April 2026. The Admission Form can only be processed by the Admissions Officer when you have fully completed the form. For further information, please visit www.kent.gov.uk/ola
Admission to Year 7 September 2026 – Important Dates:
- Monday 2nd March 2026 (after 4pm) – National offer day
- Monday 16th March 2026 – Deadline for submission of late applications to KCC / return waiting list request to KCC. Deadline for confirming acceptance / refusal of an offered place
- Monday 30th March 2026 – Deadline for lodging appeals
- Thursday 23rd April 2026 – KCC Reallocation Offer Day
Appeals
If your child is due to start secondary school in September 2026, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Monday 2nd March 2026).
You needed to submit your appeal before Monday, 30th March 2026 for it to be considered by June 2026. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible, in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
In Year Admissions Form - Years 7 – 11
Parents/Carers wishing to apply for a place need to download and complete in full the Casual Admission Form. The Admission Form can only be processed by the Admissions Officer when you have fully completed the form.
